Remove a project

If you own or maintain a project listed here, you can have it removed.

Who can ask

An owner or maintainer of the project. Nobody else.

How to prove it

Pick one.

1. Email hello@midorreal.com with the subject "Removal: owner/repo". Send it from an address on the project's own domain, or from an address listed on a maintainer's GitHub profile.
2. Add a file named .midorreal-remove to the repo's default branch, then send the email above.

What happens

We acknowledge within 2 business days and act within 10.

• The project page returns 410 Gone.
• The project comes off every board and out of the sitemap.
• We stop collecting data about it and delete what we stored.
• It stays removed permanently, including after a rename or transfer, because we key on the GitHub repo id, not the name.

Changing your mind

The owner can email us and ask to be listed again.
